How the ABCG Recertification Process Works
The recertification process is designed to be straightforward while ensuring you meet the standards of professional development and patient care. Here’s a quick guide to how the ABCG recertification process works:
01. Notice of Renewal
Practitioners are required to renew their certification every seven years to stay aligned with advancements in cosmetic gynecology.
02. Preparation
Access our comprehensive 100-item board review questionnaire, meticulously prepared by the Board President and Course Director, Ayman Elattar, MD, ABLS, to help you succeed.
03. Exam Schedule and Details
Exams are hosted annually in various cities. Stay updated via email or visit our website for information on locations and dates.
04. Fee Payment
A $2,500 exam fee is required to complete the recertification process and maintain your board-certified status.
05. Pass the ABCG Written and Oral Exams
Includes a two-part multiple-choice written test and an oral assessment conducted by a panel of specialists.
06. Receive Your Renewed Certification
Upon passing, receive an updated board certification to showcase your continued commitment to excellence and professionalism.
